Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or jojoba oil
- ¼ ripe avocado
- 2 drops Helichrysum oil
Instructions:
- Mash up the avocado until smooth. Add the honey, coconut oil or jojoba oil, and Helichrysum oil. Mix well.
- Spread the mask over your face (and neck, if desired). Leave on for 15 minutes, then wash off with warm water.
- Apply moisturizer and enjoy your smooth, hydrated skin.
Clay Facial Mask
Help cleanse and nourish your skin with this easy clay mask. It is great for all skin types and can be customized with your favourite essential oils.
This recipe makes enough for one facial mask and should be applied to skin at least once a week for best results
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons bentonite clay
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 drop Frankincense oil
- 1 drop Lavender oil
- 1 drop Melaleuca essential oil
Note: Bentonite clay can be purchased at your local health food store. Do not use a metal bowl or spoon with bentonite clay as it can make it less effective.
Instructions
- Combine clay and vinegar in bowl and stir until well combined. Tip: For a thicker mask, add an additional half teaspoon of clay.
- Add essential oils.
- Apply to clean skin, avoiding the areas around eyes and mouth.
- Let dry for 5–15 minutes.
- Rinse with warm water and follow with moisturizer.

Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons witch hazel
- 2 Tablespoons Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 2 Tablespoons distilled water
- 1–2 drops Tea Tree essential oil
- Roll of paper towels
Instructions
- Combine witch hazel, Fractionated Coconut Oil, and water in a small bowl and stir.
- Add Tea Tree essential oil.
- Use a serrated knife to cut the roll of paper towels in half width wise and remove tube from one half.
- Put the half without the tube in an airtight container, then pour the solution over the roll.
- Replace lid and shake.
- To use, pull wipes from center and wipe off makeup.
- Store in a cool, dry place and use within three months.
Strawberry-Lime Sugar Scrub
Are you someone who likes skin care products that smell like fruit? Most fruity skin care products on the market are full of artificial fragrances and chemicals that trick your nose into thinking that it is the real thing, when it really isn't.
This DIY Strawberry-Lime Sugar Scrub smells like fresh strawberry jam and can be made at home in just a few easy steps.

Ingredients
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 1 cup raw turbinado sugar
- ⅓ cup organic virgin coconut oil
- ⅓ cup doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 drops Lime oil
Instructions
- In a large plastic bag, add strawberries and crush with a rolling pin.
- Add crushed strawberries and sugar into large bowl.
- In a microwavable glass cup, add the organic virgin coconut oil and place in microwave for 15 seconds or until melted.
- In the glass cup with melted virgin coconut oil, add Fractionated Coconut Oil, vanilla extract, and Lime essential oil. Stir until combined and add to bowl with strawberries and sugar.
- Stir until everything is combined. If mixture looks too dry, add 1 teaspoon of Fractionated Coconut Oil at a time until consistency is right.
- Store in airtight container.
- To us, take a handful of scrub into hands and rub together until sugar dissolves. Rinse under warm water and pat dry. For added softness, rub hands with doTERRA SPA Hand & Body Lotion.

Instructions
- Place Fractionated Coconut Oil and rosewater in glass spray or pump bottle.

Instructions

- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
- Transfer to an airtight container for storage.
- Massage a dime-size amount of the cleanser into the face and rinse off with warm water.

Notes
Not sure which face wash would be best for you? I recommend making a small batch and trying it for a couple of weeks to see how your skin responds. The gentle face wash is a great place to start.
Aim to use your DIY face wash 1-2 times a day. It’s a simple but impactful addition to a natural daily skincare routine.
When drying your face, it’s a good idea to pat it dry (don’t rub) with a clean, soft towel.
Homemade Face Moisturizer
Equipment
- Double Boiler
- Airtight container
Ingredients
- 100 g shea butter, approximately ½ cup of raw shea butter
- 15 ml jojoba oil, 1 tbsp
- 15 ml fractionated coconut oil, 1 tbsp
- 5 drops lavender, optional
- 5 drops sandalwood, optional
- 5 drops yarrow pom, optional
Instructions
- Add shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil to a glass bowl.
- Set the glass bowl over a pot of water to create a double boiler. Melt all ingredients together.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Add in essential oils if you are using them and stir together well.
- Transfer to an airtight container and allow it to cool completely before securing the lid.
DIY Facial Toner
Equipment
- 200 ml spray bottle
Ingredients
Toner for normal skin
30 ml apple cider vinegar
60 ml witch hazel
60 ml distilled water
3 drops lavender essential oil
3 drops tea tree essential oil
Toner for dry skin
45 ml apple cider vinegar
60 ml witch hazel
60 ml distilled water
5 drops vitamin E oil, optional
3 drops myrrh essential oil
3 drops geranium essential oil
Toner for oily skin
60 ml apple cider vinegar
60 ml witch hazel
60 ml rose water
3 drops lemon essential oil

Instructions
- Choosing from one of the recipes above, add the ingredients to a spray bottle.
- Secure the spray top and shake well.
- Lightly spray onto clean skin, avoiding the eyes and nose.
